A baby born mid-flight on a Jet Airways plane will be able to ride free of charge for the rest of his life.
The mother and baby were taken to a hospital in Mumbai after the flight landed and are both in good health, BBC reported.
The airline, the crew and a nurse were on board the plane for “the successful birth of the baby boy,” BBC reported.
On Monday, Jet Airways tweeted a mock Father’s Day card from the baby to his father. The card thanked the airline and his mother for the smooth delivery.
“I thank mom for her indomitable spirit and the Cabin Crew’s best efforts in helping me come into this world,” the card said. “And yes, I finally thank Jet Airways for giving me a lifetime of free travel. This means more travel is on the cards, more fun outings with you and mom, and more of exploring this beautiful world.”
